How powerful is serving others while bringing everyone together for an Intergenerational experience? Incredible!

We discuss a recent article in Time Magazine that indicates youth are considered to be 66% more flourishing through volunteering. And what if that volunteering was hangin’ out with older adults?

Join us as the Mavericks of Senior Living sit down with Kim Beasley of AG Rhodes and Jennifer Guynn of Pebble Tossers to talk about their combined project. This collaborative focus on Generation Connect Service camps provides a tremendous opportunity for all! Selected volunteers are paired with elders at A.G. Rhodes to gather and record oral histories, spend time, and develop relationships across different generations.

The goals of the camp are to build and strengthen connections between people, to teach the value of listening, and introduce youth to career development opportunities in the fields of healthcare, social work, elder care, and facility administration. #seniorliving #intergenerational #seniorcare #agingtogether #wisdommatters #aging #olderadults #serviceforothers #peopleoverprofits #volunteeri
